Plymouth, Minnesota is a city of around 73,000 spread about an area of about 35 square miles. It is located in Hennepin County and is the sixth-largest city in the state. Plymouth was recently named in 2008 as the number one place in the nation to live by Money magazine.

The city is accessible from US Highway 12, which intersects Interstate 494 and US-169, both of which run north-south on either side of the city.
